Privacy & document use

Information you provide

Buyer and vendor forms collect company and contact details, location, product names, grades, forms, quantities, manufacturing capacity, messages and optional uploaded specifications or certifications. We also record submission references, dates, accepted cooperation terms and optional publicity permission. Administrator accounts use protected password credentials and a secure session cookie.

How we use it

We use this information to assess suppliers, review product requirements, prepare quotations, arrange supply, maintain correspondence and record agreed permissions. Submission acknowledgement emails, vendor terms, business notifications and relevant follow-ups support these activities. We do not sell submitted personal contact information.

Uploads and confidentiality

Buyer specification uploads and vendor certification uploads are restricted to authorised MORTEN administrators through the website. Relevant technical information may be shared with a proposed manufacturing partner, buyer, laboratory or auditor when necessary for the requested opportunity. Share only documents you are authorised to provide and tell us about confidentiality restrictions before sensitive information is shared further. Never upload passwords, identity documents or unrelated personal information.

Catalogue Ref COA and SDS files are different: documents approved and uploaded by an administrator for public display can be viewed and downloaded by any visitor. Confidential details should be removed before public upload. A reference COA is for review; the batch-specific COA and suitability must be confirmed for the material supplied.

Company name and logo permission

Buyer publicity permission is optional and is not required for a quotation. Only after a completed material purchase, and with the authorised permission recorded in the form, may MORTEN display the company name, a logo supplied or approved by that company and public company details as a Valuable Customer. An inquiry alone does not establish customer status. Private contact details, prices, order values, specifications and confidential records are excluded. Contact us to withdraw permission for future publications or request removal from MORTEN-controlled displays. Third-party copies may remain outside our control.

Vendor registration does not by itself grant permission to publish a vendor logo or private certification file.

Manufacturers and facility audits

MORTEN is the direct commercial supplier; manufacturing is performed by the actual manufacturing partner. Customer facility audits are coordinated through MORTEN and require advance written agreement on access, scope, date, safety and confidentiality. An application or a displayed document is not proof that a facility or product has been audited or approved.

Service providers and security

Website hosting, database and file storage services process information to operate the site. Our configured email provider processes recipient details and message contents for delivery. Processing may take place outside your country. We use access restrictions, secure transport and protected administrator credentials; no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and your requests

We retain records while needed for the inquiry, supplier relationship, accepted terms, business records or applicable obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of sharing or withdrawal of publicity permission. We may verify your authority and retain records required for outstanding transactions or applicable obligations. We will explain any limitation. Deleting an inquiry does not automatically remove already delivered emails or third-party copies.
